oh how to #hire better

When someone asks me what I do, I say I advise companies how to become better businesses by hiring better people. That’s it in a nutshell. 
But of course, there is little more to it than that…

Hiring better people means having a comprehensive knowledge of every facet of talent acquisition, from strategy and process (RACI) to employee advocacy, the EVP, the employer brand, evaluating and implementing rec-tech, and, underpinning all these, understanding the metrics that inform and guide us to better decisions.
 
Above all though, great recruitment means having great recruiters, so optimising the strengths of your TA team is a prerequisite to almost everything else you do.

I am an unashamed advocate of promoting the value of great recruitment in creating great companies. In particular, my focus is on supporting organisations during periods of transformational change and hyper-growth. Sometimes, such change is planned, sometimes it is a bit more haphazard, but in either event it needs well managed. That’s where great recruitment will make all the difference…
